Hand in Hand Ballarat brings our community together to help make that possible. Through our partnership with The Sebastian Foundation, the funds we raise bring the evidence-based, proactive Open Parachute program into our local and regional schools - giving our young people practical and relevant mental health knowledge, language and skills they can carry through life.
At just $15 per student, per year, every contribution can make a real and lasting difference. Because we shouldn’t wait until our kids are in crisis to start teaching them mental health skills.

What started with a small group of locals determined to do something has grown into a community creating real change for our kids. Hand in Hand Ballarat is 100% volunteer run, with every cent we raise goiing to our kids!
Through fundraising, events, sponsorships and generosity of our community, Hand in Hand Ballarat raises the funds needed to bring the proactive, evidence based mental health program, Open Parachute into local and regional schools.
Every dollar raises locally stays local - crrewting opportunities for more of our kids to learn mental health skills they need for life.

Built on research from Macquarie University, Open Parachute uses real stories and relatable experiences to help young people better understand themselves and others, navigate challenges, build resilience and know when and how to ask for help.
And costs just $15 to fund one student for an entire year.

IN-KIND SUPPORT: We have a number of operational needs during our fundraising events so we are seeking 'in-kind' support. If you think your organisation can help us in any way, we would love to hear from you.
AUCTION SUPPORT: We welcome donations of auction items, silent auction items and raffle prizes that can assist us in raising funds. These items will be auctioned at our annual Black-Tie Gala or used for various raffles throughout the year.
SCHOOLS SUPPORT: We would like to partner with schools today who would like to get involved in our campaign, and explore implementing The Sebastian Foundation's Open Parachute program which will be funded by us. Interested schools are encouraged to reach out to us immediately.
